What we're watching...

March 4, 2017

At Laugh and Let Die, as you might expect, we love watching Detective Thrillers, and especially the quirky ones. And they don’t get much quirkier than Search Party.

Bored in her dead end job, Dory (Arrested Development’s Alia Shawkat) finds out that an old classmate that she hardly knew has gone missing. She makes it her mission to find her, and with her rag tag band of hipster friends, gets embroiled in a zany mystery taking her to weird cults, strung out ex boyfriends and dodgy gumshoe private eyes.

Both funny and compelling, Search Party has got the hipster generation spot-on, as interested with their social media profile as they are with their job prospects and personal lives.

It’s available on All 4 across the usual formats.
